I can't get out of my head that this is a squabble between very rich people/institutions and I should go play golf. However it affects us all in some way or other.

Anyway back to rich entities:

Woke up this morning to discover even Paul McCartney could have afforded to buy Bear Sterns, but didn't of course! he has that ex-bint of his to support in a life of luxury. More rich people's arguments!

So I sold my small M&S holding Friday and it went down again today. usually when I sell it goes up the next day! I watch the other small holding hourly (we really are talking small holdings here but not to me!).

Talk overnight (World Service due to insomnia) is that US foreclosed houses in California, etc. are going at 33% discounts at auctions. I trust the Beckhams will get stung badly in this whole mess as well, but that's how I feel about 'celeb status' and rich people arguing of course.

So you see I can't get this idea out of my head it's about rich entities squabbling over the spoils. I'm going to have a coffee a ham roll with mayo and think on. BoE 5bill. Small change in this fracas. Watch for a fall of a UK bank in the short term.
